Certified athletic therapist since 2004

Marie-Claude holds a diploma in Athletic Therapy from Concordia University, as well as national certification in 2004.

Between 2005 and 2013, she developed her skills working at the McGill Sports Medicine Clinic.

During her first years at McGill, Marie-Claude became head therapist for the university track and field, cross-country and volleyball teams.

To this day, Marie-Claude remains committed to McGill University.

First accredited sports sponsor since 2004

Marie-Claude has been a member of the Judo Canada medical team since 2005. She has been accredited as the sport’s first responder since 2004.

During the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Marie-Claude is Judo Canada’s chief therapist.

She accompanies judokas to numerous international competitions:

  • World Cups and Grand Prix 2005-2016
  • World Championships 2013-2016
  • Pan-American Championships 2013-2016
  • Pan-American Games 2015
  • Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games

To this day, Marie-Claude Dion’s clientele includes many top athletes.

Marie-Claude is a certified athletic therapist, member of CATA(Canadian Athletic Therapists Association) and CTSQ(Corporation des thérapeutes du sport du Québec). In order to practice athletic therapy, Marie-Claude must renew her certification as a first responder every 3 years.

Osteopath member of Osteopathie Québec since 2017

In 2017, Marie-Claude graduated as an osteopath from the Collège d’études ostéopathiques (CEO) de Montréal.

She is an active member of Osteopathy Quebec (OQ).

Between 2017 and 2021, she gains a lot of experience working at theChambly Osteopathy Clinic. In 2021, Marie-Claude shifts her focus to private practice.

To this day, Marie-Claude still sometimes helps out her former employers.

Marie-Claude studied at the Collège d’études ostéopathiques de Montréal. She is a member of the osteopathic association Ostéopathie Québec. Being recognized by Ostéopathie Québec enables Marie-Claude to provide her clients with insurance receipts.
